Radical Demon

This is the submission made by Alan Freeman on behalf of the Association for Heterodox Economics (AHE) to the international benchmarking review committee for the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) in economics

This article appeared in Freeman and Kagarlitsky 'The Politics of Empire'. It shows that inequality between the 'developed' countries and the rest of the world more than doubled under globalisation, taken to mean the period (1982-2002) of intensive financial and trade deregulation.
